• “Complete Mechanical Contracting installed a Mr. Slim Ductless unit in my Master Bedroom in 2009.  Our intent was to turn off the whole house air conditioner during the summer and use the Mr. Slim in our bedroom.  We did not want the unit to clash with the bedroom décor and wanted to avoid an eyesore.  Complete Mechanical designed an installation that kept the unit out of the direct line of sight of visitors while still providing an effective location for cooling the room.  The Mr. Slim unit easily keeps our bedroom cool on any hot day.  It will take the room down to desired temperature in less than 30 minutes then automatically reduces its energy draw to maintain the room at the desired temperature.  The unit is very quiet both inside the bedroom as well as the unit outside.  The installation was a challenge but Complete Mechanical did a nice job, no impact on our home!  We opted for the LineHide cover on the outside of the home which makes the plumbing seem transparent.  As a nice benefit, we have the heat pump version and we were able to turn off the heat in our home this winter and used the Mr. Slim to keep our bedroom comfortable.  We are satisfied with the Mr. Slim Ductless system, and with the Complete Mechanical’s installation process– very friendly people”.

• “As a retired Foreign Service Officer living in a designated historic village, I was frustrated by management’s reluctance to consider any heating and air-conditioning systems other than the inefficient thru-the-wall units which were approved when the village first went condo back in the 1970s.  Through the years, various residents had requested systems which used compressors located outside their units and, with no exception, been turned down by the condo association.
  
  When it appeared that current management might consider permitting upgrades, we formed a task force to consider several systems and contractors.   Ed Humbert and Complete Mechanical Contracting, despite their location in another city, was clearly the best choice, both then and now.   With no guarantee that the system would be approved, Ed nevertheless worked with our task force, engineers, and management company, making on-site visits to study our construction and discuss how the Mitsubishi Ductless system could be installed in individual units.    It was an uphill battle all the way – people were not familiar with this type of system and couldn’t believe how quiet and efficient it is.   Ed patiently answered a multitude of questions, and provided specifications and suggestions for installation.  It took six months but final approval eventually came.  I have no doubt that the extensive input provided by Ed weighed heavily in the decision process.
  
  As a member of the task force and the first owner in the village to install the Mitsubishi Ductless system, I’ve come to know Ed as well as his staff.   Complete Mechanical Contracting is the company I selected to install my system and I recommend them without reservation.   They are fair, responsive, knowledgeable and reliable – I trust their advice, their work and welcome their presence in my home.”
